Yes in the new tank. Not sure if this batch will make it possibly not fertile. I believe this is their first batch. There are not as many eggs as there was yesterday.

Marlin Jr it is... Lol.. Yes they are True Percs. I just hope some will make it if not I will be ready for the next batch. So if some do hatch what is the correct time frame will I be looking at 5 days, 7 days or 10 days to hatching?

For starters you will need to start a rotifer culture which will probably need a few weeks to get to the density to support the fry. I used 3 5g buckets and had 3 cultures going just in case one crashed. You will need either live or frozen phyto for your green water culture to keep them alive. I used Rotigrow + .You will also need to use a product called Chloram-X, which is an ammonia detox that you will need to add everytime you feed phyto to the rotis. I did twice a day. Also you will need to get brine shrimp eggs to hatch those. Read Read Read and Read some more and get those cultures started, you probably wont be able to attempt to raise those eggs even if they do hatch, not enough time to get everything you need and going. I do have frozen phyto and the chloram-x that I am not using at the moment. I let my cultures go when the breeding pair died.

Congrats.

Ostentum has covered all infor how to raise their food.

a list of stuffs you need.

10g tanks(cover all 4 sides with back paper)
heater
light(I use a clip on light from homedepot that we use for our sump)
airstone pumps
thereometer(keep water around 81-84 F)
sponge filters(use it when fry are bigger..around 1month old)
53um rotifers sieve(u can get one from ebay for $17)
salt...u will use a lot of it. go ahead and mix a few gallons. you will do water change on fry tank everyday(around a gallon a day till they get bigger)

How to raise fry.

Depend on the temp in the parents tank, Eggs will hatch on day 8 at night when light goes out.
I always move my eggs to the fry tank on day 7.
Fill up your 10g tank half way with the parents tank water.
Keep temp around 81-84
Move eggs over and keep the airstone close to the eggs for movement. If you dont do that, eggs will have fungus.
Turn light on/off like parents tank.
On day 8, turn light off and eggs should hatch in 1-2hr later (if they dont hatch, they will hatch on day 9).
On day 9 when all hatched, turn on light and put rotifers in. just tint the fry water a very light green with rotigrow + and add Chloram-X(u should mix it with rodi water in a separate container. 12tsp to 1l of water).

Have more questions. just post and i will try to answer them.

GL and have fun :)

When the eggs begin to hatch, turn off all circulation pumps/return pump to keep the water still. The larvae are attracted to light, so if you put a small point light in the tank the larvae will come to it and you can remove them gently.

A lot work if u collect them from parents tank.
On day 8 when parents light is about to go out, turn off all pumps.
When light is out....wait, wait, wait and wait till eggs hatch, ask someone to shine a flashlight to ur tank and you will see fry swim to the light. siphon them out and move it to ur 10g.

If its too much work, just let this batch go.
u can always place a piece of tile where they always laid eggs and they will lay on it. will take a few times before they start laying on it.

With net or container?
Also does anyone in Houston sell the Rotigrow & Chloram-x?

I have a larval collection trap that you can borrow you just hook an airpump to it and it has a light on it. The larvae swim to it and get pushed into the trap without any damage to them.

That would be great... I am really hoping they don't hatch till this weekend like Saturday night were I can stay up to make sure I get them if any do hatch. I just don't know the exact date when she laid them all I know is I saw them on Sunday.

Mike you said to black out the tank on all four sides then you have use a clip on light and turn the light on after they hatch...
I am confused if you are blacking out the tank on all sides then why do you put the clip the lamp onto the tank?
Can you post some pics of your fry tank setups for clownfish?
