As I read through the article they mentioned to use either plastic or glass containers with flat bottoms.. Can either a plastic milk or water jug work? The one gallon ones. I don't know if their bottoms are completely flat.

I started later with B1, didn't have the biological filtration to feel safe starting with A

Did they come in small containers because one of them I found was extremely expensive for one container. Or maybe I am looking in the wrong spot on their website.

The TDO hobbyist pack has small amounts of each one, good because it doesn't have a long shelf life after opened.

Ok need to know what Mr.Nemo is doing.... He is going underneath the rock were the eggs are at getting pieces of sand coming up and spitting them out on top of the rock... Does anyone know what does thay mean?

I can now see the eyeballs on a lot of them and some with the silverstreak.. so o am guessing they will be hatching soon.

That litter is about to pop. Did you ever find out what Mr. Nemo was doing getting the eggs in his mouth?

Nope never did find out what Mr. Nemo was doing. He was actually picking up pieces of sand and spitting it out onto the rock around the eggs.

Still no babies... Stayed up till 12am..... Eggs are still there...

We got babies... We got babies.... Not very Many but the first batch is in the process of hatching.....

Correction to post we had babies and dumb me messed up... Some hatched and I saw them along the back of the glass and saw that there was still some more on the rock so I waited another 30 minutes for those to hatch but when I went to go and collect the ones that had already hatched I believe became food because my yellow tang was in the back corner where they had been at.

Well Mrs. Nemo laid her second batch of eggs on Saturday while I was out running errands so hopefully my rotifer cultures will be plentiful by the 15th "hoping"..... If not then we will have to wait for batch 3 or 4..

We did have babies but I screwed up again….

More hatched on Sunday night and got those and they were still alive as of this morning.. But not as many as Saturday hatching was man I could kick myself all the way to China.

Congrats.. Keep it up Mary..Been there like you and learn from it. You will get better every time u make a mistake. Your pair will lay eggs like crazy so no worry. you will have another batch coming soon. You will see that every time they lay, the batch of egg is getting bigger.
