To all you arm chair directors:

Maybe if you put as much time and energy into making the party a success by ultilizing the VOLUNTEER PROGRAM for this EVENT, instead of complaining about what it should be named, we could ALL enjoy a successful FISH party..... This club has lost sight of it's purpose:

-To exchange information within the group to share cumulative experiences and to ensure successful husbandry of our members' aquaria;
-To participate in education within the club through speakers, Internet presence, outreach, newsletters, and interaction with the trade;
-To promote captive propagation and breeding; and
-To promote conservation both within and without the hobby.

This is why I joined... not for this nonsense.

Yep yep.

The members here have a real voice. This is one of the greatest truths about this club. The BOD and MOD dont police and dictate how or why other than maybe moving a thread to where it should go or something similar. We can bicker if we want to but at the end of the day, I still chat via yahoo messenger with "fightwithmeaboutit" and its all done in good debate. Cutting down people isnt so nice but here you can say just about anything you feel you need too and thats ok.

Also the lounge is meant for off topic debates/questions such as this one. But youre new and probably not really sure whats what yet.

In another post, I wrote:

"After long thinking... I am going to start calling my corals... fish! Since the fish are a minority of my tank, I would not want to offend them. Yes, it might upset the corals but offending the fish would be just plain wrong. Equality! That is what it is all about!"

Now I wish I would not had thought that because the bristle worms, crabs, and snails feel left out! All three are hurdling up into a group because they do the hard work cleaning and consider themselves the 99%. I just hope that they do not decide to "Occupy" Nano!
