I hear that! There has been more than one time that my tank has driven me near the breaking point. I try not to take it too seriously these days. I got into this hobby to help me relax and take my mind off the REAL stresses in life.
candy canes and caps are hard to kill imo. if they are bleaching and you are keeping up with waterchanges its probably the lights. if they havent been replaced by now then its more than time to change them as I took that tank down and sold it exactly 1yr ago and I doubt the guy who had it before you changed the bulbs. Youre probably using 2yr old bulbs is my best guess
Actually this its a perfect vid to show how to get past this stuff...but I haven't been on to check your post should have texted me dude! That suck that it happen dang why they look so cool and so dangerous.
