Wow they both crashed?! That’s awful. Are they compensating you for the bad batch of RG?

Can we get some updates pics of the babies?? Dying to see how the colors are turning out!
They sent me a free replacement bottle, but that does little to bring back dead rotifer cultures.
I'm starting to think the mass deaths I had with the most recent clutch may have been affected by this as well. I was using the same bottle to tint the fry tank water and feed the rotifers.
I'll try to get some pictures soon (y)

They're all doing well!
The original 5 babies are getting close to the 3 month mark, we might give 1-2 away from that clutch pretty soon.
We'll do a drawing or something like that if we have a lot of interest.
Yay!!!! I’ve kept only 1 very small flurry clown for about a month now to prep for this!!! Ideally, I’d like them to pair and go into the anemone I’ve got all set up for them in there. Super excited!

@ITreefer I absolutely LOVE following this thread. I've always wanted to try breeding clowns, even before the designer clowns came into play. But I've always been a little scared of it. What would it take to you encourage to do a some sort of virtual workshop at some point on breeding clownfish? Discuss things like equipment setup, dos and don'ts, maintaining the right food for the different phases of the babies, lessons learned, etc. I would definitely attend something like that for sure!!

I would probably be open to doing something like that.
Maybe just a video going through the entire process vs a live thing, but who knows.
Thanks for following along!

Very sad news.
The small tank that houses chocolate chip and other babies was a bit cloudy when I woke up this morning. All but one wyoming white baby were dead. (RIP chocolate chip)

Also lost the female of my mocha clown breeder pair a few days ago.
Thankfully, it didn't seem to be disease or anything, so the remaining breeder pairs that share the water are unaffected.
The male seems depressed right now, hoping to add a mate for him soon.

Don't know what happened in either case.

Seems like the storm clown died from an injury. However, there is just a clay pot and nothing else in their breeding chamber, so I can't imagine how she got injured.

I introduced the baby clowns to a single thawed brine shrimp last night and hilarity ensued.
They all surrounded it very curiously, one at a time, they would approach and then quickly back off. They would touch it with their nose and then get scared and dart away... no one dared to eat it.
Really wish I was filming it, reminded me of curious dog behavior.
