New Toys
I have new toys! I got my Apex installed over the weekend and installed a new SRO XP3000 external skimmer. I let the skimmer run for about 8 hours yesterday and had it draining into a 5gal bucket. Went to bed with about 3/4" of water in the bucket so I slept like a baby. This morning I sounded like a baby when I woke up to my son saying that there was water all over the floor. Apparently, I forgot about that skimmer breaking in and starting to really pour out the foam/water/general messiness. Needless to say I had to relocate the skimmer today so I could keep the water level lower and prevent future floods. My lights are nearly complete. They are working on the cabling and controls to ensure that the plasma units will work with the dimmable ballast controls on my apex and I will hopefully have them soon. I'll definitely post some pics when they show up.
