What return pump are you running? If internal, some people like spa hose on the discharge of the pump. I LOVE the plumbing part!

It's a Mag 9.5, figured I would use braided tubing?

So here is what I have so far, added a threaded strainer and a female adapter for the end of the PVC pipe as well as an other union. Do I need any other types of adapters?

That was actually a guy on RC. This was two years ago, but new AGE setup this year in March!

Braided as in stainless steel? That's a no no. As far as what else you need, you'd need to provide a diagram of what you'd like to do with your return and drains. Will you be running any reactors?

I guess I meant braided vinyl tubing? Here is a rough sketch I just came up with. The two drains will go down into two filter socks, same compartment with the skimmer. And no plans for reactors.

I would do everything you can to avoid a horozintal run of pipe. Try to remove the elbows if at all possible.

ABS are good.

Well, I just placed am order for the plumbing materials. Did I miss something or should I have pretty much everything I need besides the cement? For the Blue Schedule 40 Pipe, I purchased 174 inches.
