Ok, I'm not trying to knock your build thread. I want you to be successful. Like I said in the PM, I'll help you with the plumbing and can get you a cheap 90/G tank for around $300 brandnew.

There's too many red flags about this guy.

1. He just did the direct injection and the tank is already moved and released?
2. Not a big fan of the "injection" method. We can go there later. Plenty of reasons why.
3. That center brace is too big. Although it won't hurt anything, it just shows the lack of knowledge.
4. Although the guy is charging very little money for what is a huge job, it draws a red flag for me. The silicone itself is nearing $100 for that job. How is he making money.
5. I haven't ever heard of this guy, know anybody that's heard of him, nor have I ever seen any of his work until now. Kinda weird because most reefers know each other.

Just sell that tank. We can get you a brandnew tank bro. Your not gonna loose much money if any. Be patient and do this right.

I can get the brandnew 90/G with black silicone for $280. Been here in two weeks.

If you want standard with clear silicone, it will be here by Wednesday.

Both are 48x18x25

Also can get you a used DSA with center overflow with stand & sump for $800 today if interested.

Just let me know.

You can sell the other tank for $100-$150 on Craigslist all day.

Well, with the help of Clownfish Chris today, most of my tank has now been setup! Plumbing installed, egg crate cut, sand spread, and aquascaping setup! We attempted to install my RODI unit, but it seems that my house does not have enough pressure :( so water will have to wait. Thanks again Chris, I guess I will have to help you build your backyard firepit now!

So my tank is now cycling as of last night, I have added the Dr. Tim's One & Only as well as his Ammonia. I just finished testing the water and below are my results.

Salinity: 1.027
Free Ammonia: .04ppm
Total Ammonia: Off the Chart
Nitrate: 4ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Phosphate: .36ppm
Calcium: 410ppm
Alkalinity: 164.56ppm (9.2dkH)
Magnesium: 1600ppm

Based off of this, can anyone give suggestions? For just beginning the first cycling phase, how do the tests look so far? The only thing I see that is high is the Nitrate and Mag.

On closer inspection there are little tufts everywhere there the strands look like small feathers, so now I'm guessing bryopsis :-/ . I removed the two main pieces of shelf rock that had most of it on them.
