Clean job... I like the color combo.

Do you have a booster pump on your RO/DI? If not I suggest you get one. It makes water so much faster at 100 PSI.

Are you going to have an access panel on the front of the tank?

No booster pump but I do have one on my Amazon wish list if you want to get me an early birthday present. [emoji3]

There is no access to the tank from the front viewing side. This is how my 120 was set up and it did not cause me any problems. I do need to get some wood trim installed to make it more presentable.

Look at you ordering a RS tank and can't afford a booster pump. :lol_hitting:

120/g is not as wide as this tank. Cleaning the front glass is gonna be he*l without the front access panel.

You got to draw the line somewhere. I don't get every toy I want immediately.
As for cleaning the glass. I use a mag float with a razor blade attachment. Cleaning the glass will not be an issue but reaching corals or other stuff on the bottom of the tank near the front glass will be more difficult. I plan on buying a 3 step ladder here shortly. The small 2-step stool I have now is not tall enough for me.

I had a busy weekend and did not make as much progress on the tank as I wanted but I did finish the plumbing, powered on the return pump and skimmer, added salt and assembled a fish net for the top of the tank. Unfortunately, my fancy Red Dragon DC return pump died on me after less than 24 hrs of operation. I emailed Premium Aquatics and Royal Exclusive. Hopefully I can get it swapped out under warranty quickly. The good news is I had an unused Jebao DC pump available that I am using in the mean time.

The sump is new and has only had water in it for a few days. It will not look like that in a few weeks.

The sump is a piece of art. Great job man. I'm just so darn jealous.

Thanks. I am really happy with how it turned out. Hopefully it works as well at it looks. Brett at Zero Edge did a great job building it to my design. I highly recommend them!

I worked on the tank a bunch today. I added the second MP40W to the tank and added a probe holder and heater to the sump. My main task was plumbing a 1" line to my sink drain. The idea is to be able to open a valve and pump water directly down the drain without having to use a hose or bucket. I also purchased a board to mount my controller and accessories on. I started laying everything out and hopefully can finish all of it tomorrow.

Not sure about the rock scape. It's a huge tank you can create some more structures.

Gotfrogs, that rock looks familiar :) I think you said you like Pukani. The weather is cooling off a bit and we expect a fresh shipment of Pukani soon, if you want to hang out and practice your scaping skillz, feel free. I think some tonga and couple of shelf pieces would look pretty awesome. Always willing to help you figure out your scape. :) Tracy the rock gal

Finally a weekend at home! Started working on my control panel board. Got everything laid out and the holes cut. Hopefully I can add trim and get it stained tomorrow.

I finished up the board and mounted it on the wall. Now I just need to get some screws and attach all of my modules.

I added my first piece of livestock yesterday. A small ORA purple stylophora frag from another tank. I have also finished up all of the electrical and control equipment minus my ATO and dosing pumps.
