Surprisingly close. Also my PO4 tested .021 that day…ATI reported .04 ppm. My nitrates were around 5-6 ppm and ATI reported 5 ppm. Not bad. 807AC6A1-2CC0-45A0-B07E-85C462FF1FD6.jpeg 1021BFBD-8B60-4A07-9869-F9054AF303B2.jpeg
Complete fake news. Unless you can provide video evidence of the test being conducted in real time, you in the video confirming that these are your tank parameter results while holding up an ID, and your family in the video confirming that it’s you holding up your ID, then I’m calling BS! o_O;):D

Cody may need all that ID and everything if I hadn’t posted every ICP since the start if this tank and 1/3 of reefers know, because they’re all public. ;) :ROFLMAO:
Please realize in the future that I don’t have an agenda when I take the time and use my personal test kits to gather this info, which I have no vested interests in the results. I have no product to sell. I just wanted to run a little experiment.

And here I thought you were secretly on the UPS payroll. I had already layed out the investigative plans. Tracking the $$ matched with promotional posts.. I am on to you and just because i didn’t get you this time doesn’t mean you won’t slip up again….

Wait, so your saying you weren’t trying to push one product over the other?

Are we talking about the same Cody… “Vice President” of the same Marsh that bought a bazillion ICP Analysis tests? Of course you wouldn’t be bias at all. Let’s be transparent…how many ICP analysis tests did Marsh buy?

we sold out of the ones marsh bought a long time ago, we have a few left that were donated... also the ones we had where sold at our cost in an effort to pass that discount on to our members. so no, nothing bias here.

a bazillion? try 50 back when we bought them.

We have sold out of them multiple times and repurchased more in bulk multiple times. We have never been hung with any of these test kits considering it’s such a good value to our members. Again, one of the awesome perks of being a supporting member! The Triton kits were brought on as a new alternative that we worked out a deal for after members like yourself expressed some dislike towards the ICP Analysis kits. This little experiment was a step towards figuring out which is the best so that we can guarantee our community is getting the best, regardless of the brand. After all, the directors are reefers too and just want the best we can get. I personally spent a little under $100 ($200 retail if MARSH didn’t provide this discount service to us) to try to get more insight into this issue so that members like yourself are getting the best information that’s available. I would throw any brand of test kit in the trash if they proved to be significantly inaccurate rather than sell them to our members. After all, without a thriving Houston reef community, this club doesn’t exist.

I certainly don’t appreciate being called a corrupt liar multiple times after having put hundreds of hours of work into this club without a dime to show for it and using my own test kits and money to do an experiment.

Not everyone has an agenda. I was just trying to get some insight, and it didn’t agree with your personal narrative. I apologize about that.

We bought 110 in august/2018, then 50 in June/2020, then in may/2021 they donated 300 kits, we gave away free about 270 of those at reefcurrents. The club also bought triton test kits at a group buy rate. Had ATI offered us a group rate we would have gotten some of those as well. We didn’t buy any of these test kits to make money for cody or the club. It was done to try to get a group price so you and the other members could benefit from the price break… your welcome by the way. We didn’t buy the tests to make money or to promote a specific product.

Cody has no incentive to push one brand over the other.

This came up after a conversation we had about if the tests are accurate or not and he volunteered to buy some kits and run a test.

If someone chooses to use one test over the other it in no way effects the club, there is no conspiracy here. We could not care less what test people want to buy, this was just to see if they are accurate or not.

Marsh is a non-profit and the board members volunteer their time for free and get nothing in return. As long as I’ve been on the board we have never once had a conversation about how to raise extra dollars for the club. Even reef currents is budgeted to try to break even. We manage what we have and give back to the members every chance we can all in the hopes of just breaking even.

This experiment has nothing to do with making money for cody or the club, it could have come back as not being accurate at all.

Buy whatever test kit you want or buy none at all… we don’t care.
