Bought this 2 adult cardinals from Fish Gallery last week because Chris(who works there) told me they are very easy to breed and they were the last 2 from a batch of 8 they got in. Took them home and left them in my sump. Told myself that they will take another 3-4months before they pair up but i was wrong because I went to feed them today to find out that the male is holding eggs in his mouth. Yeaaaaaaa
I think this is his first time holding eggs, He will eat them all soon.

Not yet. Sill new to cardinals
1 of my male bangaii pairs has eggs in his mouth but he released them last night(day 18) before i get to catch him out. next time, i will catch him out earlier.

Thats cool that you can get them to breed already, but sucks that the male will not hold the eggs. 18 days though I would think that the eggs would have hatched, but I guess I still have more research to do on them... I am going to pic up a few tomorrow to add to my breeding tank. Any idea where I can find some large adult size that I can possible pair up?
