Any interest in opening booths to wholesalers such as Route 66 Marine? They as well as SDC have been attending shows.

Yes. I thought about contacting them (route 66) since I had material from MACNA.

Brian would it be a joint deal with you? What about ORA?

We are hitting everything electronically so far (facebook, other reef forums, MARSH, ReefCurrents.org, Steve Tyree's website, etc.) The one thing we are lacking right now I believe is physical information. I don't think anyone is working on flyers, cards, etc. We do have an ad in the Reef Hobbyist magazine but that is it. It would be awesome if someone with some artistic ability could help us come up with something to actually hand out at stores or hang on store windows.

Thats a good idea... I'm sure our sponsors wouldn't mind but have to wonder about the "others" ... Lets discuss it on the call tonight.

R66M & SDC typically rent their own booths. However, in order for them to sell their coral at the show they will need a local account. I have an account with both of them as well as FJW. If someone found something in a wholesaler tank, the wholesaler would need to sell it to one of us first and then it could be sold to you.

Not sure this show is really ORA's game. Since ORA is based on a sustainable supply of corals and not crazy one off frags of "LE" corals. ORA is however very supportive of the industry and might be willing to donate a frag pack to raffle?

I will reach out to a few of the wholesalers and provide them with the details of the event or provide the MARSH designate the contact details. Not looking to step on anyone's tasking, willing to assist if wanted.

Do we have a list of vendors to approach?
World Wide Corals
ReefKoi
CherryCorrals
Gonzo Coral Frags
Jason Fox
Others?

Brian,
Most of those vendors are being contacted by Steve Tyree. He is handling the coral vendors (with the exception of a few locals). A couple of them have already committed to the event.
Thanks,
Candace

I know it is not one of her very detailed drawings but this is what she drew for my birthday.

I'm not supposed to say but we MAY have some very world-wide, addicting, reef-koi,
coral shop, beantown farming, gonzo, Ljam, reef rafting vendors coming.

3CC, FJW, Building an Obsession, Hi-Def, and Zoanthids.com definitely are booked.

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to remind everyone that tickets to Reef Currents are $25.00 through tomorrow. Time is running out to get them at this discounted price! The price increases to $35.00 on the 1st. $25.00 for a full day of speakers and vendor shopping at some of the best vendors in the nation...not a bad deal. Heck, I spent more on my last frag :).

I'll have some serious discounts on acrylic goods and I'm sure I'm not the only vendor that will have killer deals.
