Buying your ticket sooner (now), strengthens the planning committee's proposals to companies
to sponsor MARSH or to donate items to the raffle as the companies see a strong interest
from the community, IMO :) (Did I post this already?)

Can you help an aquarium club out?

I have bought some hard to find corals at shows for about 1/2 or less the online retail prices.

At some earlier shows, I bought an awesome green and red striped Cynaria from Zooanthids.com (definitely coming),
and a full-grown vivid orange chalice from Hi-Def Corals (also definitely coming). Both these vendors had a wide variety
of corals and prices to suit a range of interests and budgets. (I'd post pic's, but I'm away for work in Florida, currently.)

So you get a great coral selection that you can see and judge in-person (no Photoshop doubts) AND great prices.
Wait! Act now and we'll throw-in, included in the ticket price, three that's right three world-class speakers:
John Coppolino, Matt Pedersen, and Bob Fenner. I'm not going to mention that THE Steve Tyree will be there also.

If you are a serious reefer, you can't beat $25. It's worth more than that at least $35.

Cacarnold3, inigomontoya,http://marsh-reef.org/member.php?u=1071 and steveb, we should raise the price. What were we thinking?
(Oh yeah, we are planning to raise the price tomorrow...nevermind.)

Yes, kids that age are free. You would just need 2 vendor hall pass tickets, if you're not interested in any of the speakers.

I just registered, but the registration fee was $35, not the discounted $25. Is it going to refund the $10 later?

Just wondering if someone will look into this. It also was going to charge me $35 yesterday, so I didn't see the incentive to register early.

It should have been $35 in the shopping cart and then when you get to the paypal checkout it discounts $10. That is what it did when I purchased my ticket yesterday.

I just tested it and it does appear that the discount is no longer working. I think the date algorithm is off.. I will text message the developer.

Got a couple tickets to bring the family the vendor area. I wouldn't mind hearing a speaker or 2, but with kids as little as mine, it isn't going to happen. Looking forward to the vendor hall though.

Sorry, I've been too busy to follow up on this. Since I didn't get my $10 discount applied to my early registration, would it be possible to put that towards a MARSH membership for the year? If so, how could we go about doing that?

I'll bring it up with our treasurer. If you purchased before midnight 12/31 you should get a $10 refund. I will make sure of that.

PM me the paypal transaction id.

TNT,

Kids that age are free. The cut-off was somewhere in the teens.

By the way for the others, it's double price if you act like a kid. You can make checks payable to Mr. X or Oceans X.
I'll accept either :)

I was hoping to extend the early rate, but no go with the committee :(
The ticket price is going to INCREASE again at the end of the month,
so I strongly suggest to buy soon.

From my own experience from hearing Fenner, and other established speakers:
the advice that Coppolino, Pedersen, or Fenner provide in 15 minutes will save you hours of heart ache
and potentially hundreds of dollars, and for $35 that is a great opportunity -
the cost of one fish or coral.

Also, Dallas is kicking our 'backsides' in the aquarium conference category.
I'd like to have something in their league. Spread the word. Let's make Reef Currents
an annual event on par with Dallas' NextWave!
