I'm setting it up in my garage and it will be plumbed directly into the pvc water line. My only issue is I don't know what fitting to get. Brs sells the murloc ro buddy but it is cpvc and not made to be used with pvc. An suggestions?

Well my unit came with several ways to attach to a water source. There is one that attaches to the water hose, faucet on the sink, one that pokes a hole in copper water pipe, and one that attaches to the flex plumbing like under the sink. My main water line runs up the wall in my garage in pvc. There has to be some type of adaptor that goes from 1/2 inch pvc to 1/4 inch push fitting.

I got my dry rock today. I just got it cleaned up as much as I could and I have two power heads that should arrive in the mail tomorrow. After they get here in going to mix up some salt water and soak the rocks for a month or two.

I purchased a yoga mat to put under the sump in the stand to assist with vibration noises. When I purchased the tank and stand used the previous owner had a piece of plywood with some thin done onto of it which he used between the display tank and the sump. The foam he has on the board is now pressed completely flat and I would assume it no longer would serve is purpose. What is this used for? Is it necessary? And if you use one for your tank what materials do you use?

It was supposed to say thin foam on top of it. And it was used between the display tank and the stand. Damn auto correct.

The plumbing is put together but not yet glued. I know I have seen not to use 90s but I had to with the space provided so I used 2 45s to make soft 90s. Other than that am I looking at any potential disasters?
