Pretty much the only reason I have tapatalk is for the notifications. Only way I can keep up with the way these euphyllias have been flying around so fast!

I don't have the "ok google" listening feature turned on, so I have nothing to worry about. (though no guarantee they're still not recording/logging)

Just so happens we do have chat functionality. However it’s not currently enabled. No it will not work with tapatalk.

Honestly it’s more admin work for me, additional moderator work and I’m not sure how much it would be used. If enough people are interested I’m happy to enable it.

As always it’s most likely NOT Tapatalk compatible. But 90% of the forum features aren’t so not sure how much that matters.

That seems like not a great way of looking at privacy.. just because I have nothing to hide doesn’t mean I have drop my pants whenever someone of “authority” wants to make sure I have nothing to hide. Siri is turned off exactly for that reason. I have nothing to hide and I couldn’t imagine someone being interested in my mundane existence but... Siri is turned off for the same reason I don’t use FB. They are taking who you are and monetizing you whether you like it or not. That type of passive data collection in a very subtle yet aggressive way is the very definition of “nefarious”. Couple that with AI and what that is bringing to the game, things get uglier pretty quick. Some people may not have a problem with a machine knowing moreabout you than you know about yourself.. able to anticipate your next decision before you make it is not a goalpost I want to accelerate towards.
