Awesome, these 5.0's max safe hp is like 575-600 rwhp, but damn 500 rwhp on the streets is lethal

I can say that driving a 400hp car as a DD is interesting sometimes, especially when the weather gets foul. I've been thinking of getting a blower, but as jhill said, I am really reluctant to cut my mileage in half. Maybe if i go turbo and keep my foot out of it i can get decent mileage.....but the odds of me not killing it everywhere I go, not good

My G37 has 347 hp stock and 0-60 in 4.9. They are so slow. 100 bucks says my ipl kills most any mustang or viper out at MSR. Just cause you can mash the gas and beat someone by 1 sec on a straightway doesn't mean it can handle well

Test drove a 2011 S model awhile back and was overly impressed with acceleration. I bet it'd kill my X6 in a quarter mile run but probably play catch up after that mark. For some reason the convertible was a bit more sluggish.

I actually had a guy tell me his Prius would beat the viper in a race because of the low end torque. I gave him a puzzled look and he said with all seriousness "it will beat any car on a 5 foot race". I didn't even know what to say to that.

Prius drivers seem to think that just because it does have some decent get up and go from a start, and that they can pull away from a light faster than the porsche that was sitting next to them, that the porsche driver gave a s*** and was actually trying to race a prius. They are delusional. This is why i need to get out... before i become one of "them".
