Life has a funny way of changing your priorities as you get older, grow your family, etc. ;)

That said, I love cars. I've bought something like 10 new cars in 15 years of driving.
And I've still yet to see a prius as pimped as mine around here. I couldn't even leave that alone. hahahaha
It was fun for a while, i dig all the tech... but missing the luxury and sportiness of past cars.

LOL! I didn't think the Prius would last too long as your DD!

For me:

Accountant for a large insurance company
40-50 age, married 28 yrs with 4 kids, 22, 19, and 12 yr old twins
Previous DD for 24 yrs: 87 Mustang 5.0 LX, 306,000 miles. I would still be driving it if I didn't blow the engine 2 yrs ago.
Current DD: Metro bus, or if I'm lucky, the wife's 2013 Equinox LTZ
Other cars: 2010 Pontiac Vibe GT - my daughter is "borrowing" it this summer

Ok so I am new in the forum so hope y'all don't mind if I play along. I consider my self kind of a car guy. Or at least I really really want to be.
30-40 hitting the top of that range, ouch.
Work in the Natural gas bizz.
Couple of kids. 19 & 6. Yes 13 years apart.
Current DD is an old 01 M3. Can't bring myself to upgrade.
Owned more cars than I can count and a few motorcycles. Last bike was an 04 Bonnavill. I wish I still had it sold it about a year ago.
Cars have ranged from old Porshes, Alfas, Triumphs many many jeeps (lost count) several old VWs couple of american muscle cars the list goes on and on. Auto Restoration/ modification is my other addiction. (No current project)
Really craving a 65-66 mustang fastback at the moment. Urge might pass, waiting to see. Typically i have preferred the imports.

LOL, no car lasts long in my garage!
The A3 was by far the longest at around 4 years and 40k miles. ;)
Best car I've ever owned, was such a great mix of everything. Too bad they stopped bringing the wagon to the states. Sonsab*****s. :tsk:
