These types of posts are for the buy sell trade forum. If you have something to trade post it there.

Plumbing is the cheap part. You need to find someone to take you so you can pick out what you need. If not your dad ask mom or brother.

im just screwed... i knocke on every door in my neighborhood seeing if they would like their lawn mowed , dogs walked, cleaning their pool, or even hanging christmas lights........guess what, not a darn person said yes. So therefore i have no way of getting anything for this build. Would any of y'all need something done around your house, so i can start buying stuff for this??...........remember my signature also.

  GL someone will feel sorry for you and will donate.

I dont want to tell you this but i just have to tell you.
This is an expensive hobby. If you dont have the money, stay away and find another hobby. There are many 15yrs on here and you are the first one to ask for lots of donation.

You don't understand the parent situation... Won't even take him to Lowes, its 5 min from the house.

You know why? Because they want him to stay away from this hobby. :D

Then he needs to get creative and stand on his own when it comes to this. There is nothing wrong with asking for a little help from someone. There is something wrong with constantly asking for handouts.

Kyle,

You asked people, everyone in your area... did you post signs? Did you go back a week later? Did you offer to mow their lawn for free one time and if they liked what you did they should hire you? Determination is what makes a man worth something. If you want this to happen for yourself, then only you can make it happen for you. Obviously no ones going to hand it to you so figure it out and dont cry about it. Everyone everywhere has a hard luck story and while I wont pretend for even a second that I understand whats happening in your family, I will say, that if my son didnt give things proper forethought and constantly went against the advice given to him by experts (laymen or not), I wouldnt be willing to help him with a very expensive hobby, and my son is pure sunshine to me.

How am I not taking the advice you all are giving me? I got off my butt and went around asking people. Geez I can only do so much guys, I do have school to worry about rather than a aquarium, don't get me wrong I love this hobby so much And I'm not going to stop now.
