I have one which I bought from fish land (of course the only LFS with good yellow Fiji leather coral).

I have super high flow but I'm guessing it's not liking the LED. Mine is very bright yellow but I feel like it's not 100% happy. In the past, I had very good luck with mh.

Got my first set of Triton Labs water test results back. Not sure exactly what if anything I should do to adjust a few parameters.

I finished up a project in my fish room today. For the past 12 years I have had a cord and 1/4" RO tube running across the floor of my fish room. Thing look much better now. I ran a Neptune Aquabus cable, 1/4" RO tube and speaker wires for a float switch up through the (hot) attic and down to the other side of the room. I terminated the connections with a keystone faceplate.

Got 3 corals in the mail today from Rarereef.com. Hopefully they open up and resemble something close to their online photos.

How do you prevent it from devouring fish.

Only time will tell. I have a smaller blue one that I have had for about 8 years and it has never caught a fish. Hopefully I have the same luck with this one.

I wondered on to that thread by mistake. First time I see a live sale in action!
I spent some time reading thru the rules and seeing how it worked to be ready for the next one. Looks like fun!

It is fun but can be expensive and a big time sink. I spent the better part of 12 hrs watching and participating. I only got 3 pieces this year but got several in 2015.

I had a coworker build me up a counter to try and shame me into doing more water changes. I will post more details and photos of it mounted when the project is completed. It is an Arduino based device with a large LED display that increments ever 24hrs until I reset it by pushing a button. My goal is to keep the number under 10.
