Let’s see the front! Not the best picture but you get the idea. This is an adaptive reef controller board. This is the inside. It has a cover that will hide this mess. I am pleased I got all the Radion ballasts in here. Had to remove one of the shelves.
Still hoping to mount a few controllers on the front panel.

You working on a stocking list already?
I don't currently see anything plugged into the apex.Ok, I have a question that is purely curiosity and education for myself. What is your mindset behind having the Ink Bird monitor the temperature and control your heater as opposed to having the Apex do it? Curious! And BTW, I love Ink Bird controllers. I have 3 of them controlling freezers that have been turned into a kegerator and cold homebrew storage as well as a refrigerator to serve as a fermentation chamber. They're awesome!

But isn't this what the alarms are set up for? I have 2 heaters on my main tank, 1 with a stat & 1 on the apex. If for some reason the temp gets too high, I get an email & I can turn both off, in case one was stuck on. Is the fear the Apex temp sensor will fail?If you heater doesn't have it's own thermostat (some don't) Terrance (with Neptune Systems) recommended not using their controller as the only failsafe. You can and should use the Ink Bird as an additional failsafe in conjunction with the Apex. You would want to set it about 1 degree higher than what your Apex is programmed so it will be on when the Apex tells it to be on, but if the Apex fails, then the ink bird will catch it and possibly keep the heater from nuking your tank.
Yep, that’s the claim. But isn't this what the alarms are set up for? I have 2 heaters on my main tank, 1 with a stat & 1 on the apex. If for some reason the temp gets too high, I get an email & I can turn both off, in case one was stuck on. Is the fear the Apex temp sensor will fail?
Have you received the pump already? If so, how does it feel and is it silent? Can’t wait to receive mine. Mine shipped today with my Calcium Reactor. Finally ready for livestock, had a bit of a unexpected mini cycle in the last few weeks. I need my tangs, cuc.....media filters online. The hair algae really exploded.
Really sold on this Blue Platinum pump. They need a rebrand and some advertisement to get the word out. I paid $225 for a 3k pump. It’s competition is the L2 $475 and the varios 8 $425 Sicce SDC 9 $399.
Still figuring out how to distribute water to refuge, media, Ca rx. The small manifold may work.
The make up tank is so nice(star fire etc) I hate to ditch it but there’s no lid, its shape isn’t ideal to maximize stand space.
