And the light of Helcar shall be born again, while overseeing the sea of Helcar. For there is one true light of the north that Melkor may never extinguish.

So basically, I put recessed lights in it too. And by lights, I mean one light.

I was super impressed with the build out so far until I saw the can of Budweiser by the window. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that there is someone helping you over the age of 55 that was drinking it but I'm a bit worried Cody. [emoji23]

Man, you nailed that out in like a few weeks and I've been just staring at my fish room and planning for 9 months now without a single piece of 2x4 cut yet. Fail on my part... Great work man.

Yeah definitely get a licensed electrician for running wires/breakers for the fish room.

Nah, you got me all wrong. Notice there's a Dallas blonds next to it. My routine is to start with nicer beer then switch to cheaper beer with lower alcohol content. It's a marathon, not a sprint!

And honestly, I've only put three days of actual work into this and one of those days was the first one where all I got up were two head boards. That was a very frustrating day.

Haha it's The Monkey. Get it right. And no, there's no activity for now. I've been busy with work this week and buying some other things that I will need for the build down the road.

Well, I guess I did buy another 40 breeder for the fish room. I will have a 60 rimless and a 40 breeder plumbed into the system, and another stand alone 40 breeder tank just in case. It will function as QT and general other tank. I like having a second system to lean on if I need to move things around or am having problems.

If you want something better looking than a 40g breeder, text me. I have something I would cut you a pretty good deal on.

Text sent.

So I finally got dry wall yesterday. I have been busy with upgrading lighting and fans in the house lately so I haven't messed with the room much. Due to my work schedule, I probably won't be able to touch the room again for another two weeks, unfortunately.

Curious if you are insulating. Planning on putting the sump in the garage in the future and know it is hot as hell in my garage in the summer and pretty chilly in the winter.
I am guessing the window is for a window unit or dehumidifier?

I will be insulating the walls, for sure, in addition to running the HVAC and a return into the roof. I have a dehumidifier for the room for the winter months, but the window is just for kicks. I wanted a window haha

Cody confidentially told me the window was an escape hatch incase his wife is pissed. He got that idea from the 2 doors in my building.

Nah it's to watch out for cops after my electricity usage and heat signature peak. I expect the DEA to ask questions haha

Yea they have come out here 6 times already. $800 electric bill has that effect

Are you serious? I mean, you live out in the woods, so that adds to the suspicion, but did they ask to see your tank?

So I might get some drywall work done today. Also, I was thinking about the floors. Should I just leave them as cement or do something nicer? The bare cement is definitely the cleanest/easiest, but part of me wants to throw down some wood flooring just for looks.
