Calling folks with rimless tanks, how much lower than the rim is the water level? I'm not sure how much of a gap to leave because I create a decent wave in my tanks. Hhhmmm.

I hear 1 1/4 inch is about the standard on rimless tanks.

Gave the old 40 breeder a new paint job. Had to strip the old paint first. It had a few cracks.

And here we are. Full, no leaks, and in need of some time. I woke up this morning and everything looks great. I'll leave it with water for a day or two more, but there shouldn't be any issues. I'm confident that I planned correctly for this particular task.
