Someone mentioned during the tank tour at my house that they used the Vibrant Aquarium Cleaner and they were able to get rid of their Bubble Algae? Does anyone have any more info on this product?
Hmmmm....I honestly am not sure. I got it online through the original thread on r2r. At the time there was a discount offered. However I don't know if the discount is still being offered or not.Does anyone in Houston sell it? I could swear I have seen that bottle somewhere before...

IMO though it is carbon and you can get same results using a lot cheaper DIY carbons and cultured bacteria like the Biodigest , just need to run a skimmer , the vibrant is kinda pricey the 8 oz. bottle was like 23.99 , I can make gallons of VSV for 15 bucks. Just my opinion , I only used on this nano because no skimmer and 2 gallons of water a week WC.
I ordered a bottle of it, so I should start dosing this week. I have used Dr. Tim's Waste Away and it did nothing to my bubble algae.
The best way to remove bubble algae IMO is don't get it in the first place and if you do, manually remove the rock and then the bubble algae outside the tank. Then place back into the system after rinsing the rock very well.
