    painting back of aquarium

    What kind of paint can I use to paint the back of my aquarium? No one at Lowe's or Home Depot seems to know, but obviously it can be done as I've seen plenty of tanks with painted backs. Anyone know? Also, any suggestions on whether to paint it blue or black?

    Can anyone here cut glass?

    I've got 2 long narrow strips of glass that I wan't to use for bracing on my new tank, but they are too long. I need about 6" cut off of each piece. They are currently 42" long X 3" Wide X .5 " thick.
