C'mon man...you are sanding just the joints right????

Dude, I went way to thick on some of these corners. I've got more compound dust on my floor than on the wall haha

Anyone need a side project? I need drywall repair for the bathroom!

Haha thanks but no thanks. For some reason though, I can’t hit the corners perfectly the first time. I’m not as good with just a butt joint, but then again, I did those first and have learned some tricks while I’ve done this project.

Minus a couple of light sanding on some seams, the drywall work is done. Glad to be pretty much done with it.

That corner seam is one that needs a second sanding. It got a new layer today.

Do you realize I have setup 7 reef tanks running cycled and full of fish and coral while you have
played with that one little room. And on top of that the last one is full of your rock and coral. Not
to mention been flat on my back for 2 weeks. Can you tell im feeling better today? Wonder my
fish didn't starve the last 2 weeks,

This guy has been around since the beginning of the build. He never got in my way so I never harmed him. He span this web just today in the time I was working in the room. He has pretty much exclusively trapped mosquitos and eaten them. He's pretty cool in my books. I think I'll keep him around.

Haha you're also retired. You're a super human in the hobbiests world by not having a job to kick your butt. Plus I have other projects on my plate that I have to balance.

Drywall is now officially completed. Spent the evening cleaning up the garage after the dust went everywhere. I don't ever think my floors will be the same without a good mopping.

The build is back on now that reef currents is over! I'm sure reeftopia will be happy to rid his tanks of my rocks and corals.

Yeah I could definitely improve in the future, but what's done is done.

Trim got laid down yesterday, silicone on the tops and bottoms of the baseboards today. Water proofing for days! Just got a little more paint to hit, then the stands start going up.
